The focal point of a lens in air and water

Grade 10 VPSI physics students collaboratively investigate the changing focal point of a lens in air and water, the characteristics of the image on a screen at the different object/screen distances, and do a little trigonometry. Refraction with Snell's Law helps to explain what might happen when the medium for which the light rays travel changes.
